Frequently asked questions
We are an out-of-network provider and do not accept insurance directly. However, we can provide a superbill for reimbursement if your plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits.
At Carissimi Mental Health and Wellness PLLC, we’ve chosen to operate as an out-of-network practice so we can offer the highest quality, personalized care without the limitations that often come with insurance-based models.
Insurance companies frequently place restrictions on session length, frequency, and types of treatment. By staying out of network, we can:
• Take the time you deserve during evaluations and follow-ups
• Provide truly individualized treatment without rushed appointments
• Maintain full clinical independence in decision-making
• Focus on collaboration and continuity—not paperwork or authorizations
This model allows us to prioritize your wellbeing, not insurance billing requirements.
